We are launching our new program, 1000 Books Before School! Join us on 24 July for an engaging story, fun craft for children, and some yummy cupcakes to celebrate.
1000 Books Before School is an early literacy program designed to build important literacy skills in children prior to them starting school, and reward them for their efforts.
There is no fee to join. Children who attend the launch party and sign up on the day, will receive their first milestone reward early!
Simply register, collect a reading record booklet in person from any MWRC Library branch, and start reading!
Children need to be library members to join and must be able to collect milestone rewards in person from a library branch. Library membership is free, and we recommend all young readers join to receive their own library card.
A parent or carer is required to stay with their child during the event. Please book a ticket for each person attending.
