Mudgee Showground offers a variety of buildings and infrastructure to meet the needs of the public and groups, and the site is regularly used for large scale shows, events and activities. The grounds are a  popular venue for horse enthusiasts offering stabling facilities and an arena suitable for equestrian.

The site offers a cattle yard, equestrian arena, animal stalls, large main pavilion area as well as smaller pavilions suitable for animal showing, a grandstand, accessible toilets and full kitchen and bar facilities. Camping is also available on site, with both powered and unpowered sites. 

Camping

There are 70 camping sites available at Mudgee Showground.
There are 30 powered sites and 40 unpowered sites available.
All basic facilities are available.

Bookings can be made online, please note payment is required at the time of booking.

Showground Bookings

The showground can be privately booked in full, or individual pavilions and areas may be hired. To enquire about booking this venue or for more information please get in touch with Council or book online via Bookable. 

Stable hire

Horse stables at the Mudgee Showground are available for casual and long term hire. 

Long term stable users require Public Liability Insurance of a minimum $10million.
