Wellington Caves excursion - summer school holidays

Join us on a road trip to Wellington Caves to explore the awesome limestone caves and formations.

In addition to getting to explore the formations on a cave tour, you'll also have the chance to bring out your inner-paleontologist, and try your hand at fossil finding. 

This free activity includes return bus travel from Mudgee to the Wellington Caves Complex in Wellington, cave tour, Discovery Lab session, lunch with drink. Please bring food or spending money if you require additional snacks or drinks throughout the day, or would like to buy souvenirs from the gift shop.

The bus will leave Mudgee at approximately 9am and return approximately 4pm. Pending demand, we will also offer pickup and drop off in Gulgong. Please let us know which location works best for you when booking your ticket/s.

Please note: A permission form must be completed for each participant and received by Council's Youth Services Officer prior to participating in this event. Permission forms will be emailed after tickets have been booked. 

FREE entry - suitable for ages 12-18 years. Lunch is provided. 

A full COVID safe plan is in place. Pre-bookings are essential.
