Council, at its ordinary meeting held 19 June 2024, resolved to place the Draft Recreation Strategy 2024 on public exhibition to seek comment and input from the community.
In response to the growing and changing Mid-Western Region, a new Recreation Strategy has been developed by Mid-Western Regional Council. The purpose of the Recreation Strategy is to provide direction to Council and the community on the planning and development of recreation opportunities and facilities over the next 10 years.
The community is now welcome to review and assess the document which is available to view below or may be made available at Council's Customer Service Centres.

Council welcomes written submissions on the above matter which must be addressed to the General Manager and received prior to 4.30pm on Friday 19 July 2024.
