Temporary suspension of Alcohol Free Zone
An application to temporarily suspend the Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ) in Mudgee has been submitted to Council to aid the delivery of:
- Flavours of Mudgee – Saturday 24 September 2022, 4.00-9.00pm
Flavours of Mudgee is the largest food and wine event in the region. Savour the delights of over 60 local food and wine producers as you’re entertained by performers in Mudgee’s iconic main streets. Entry into Flavours of Mudgee is free. Festival Tasting Packages with souvenir glasses are available if you wish to sample local wine.
A $25 tasting package includes five tasting (30ml) tokens and a souvenir Flavours of Mudgee tasting glass.
Proposed locations to temporarily suspend AFZ:
- Market St between Lewis St and Perry St
- Church St between Short St and Mortimer St

Saturday 24 September 2022, 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Council welcomes written submissions on the above matters. Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager and received prior to 4.30pm on Thursday 22 September 2022.
