Councillor Information Sessions

Council is conducting two Councillor Candidate Information Sessions ahead of the September Council elections. Sessions will take place on Wednesday,12 June 5.30pm – 9pm and Thursday,13 June, 9am – 12.30pm at Council Chambers, 86 Market Street Mudgee.

The sessions will include essential information regarding the role and responsibilities of prospective Councillor candidates considering participation in the upcoming local government elections.

Presenting at both sessions will be Leanne Barnes, former General Manager of Bega Valley Shire Council (Order of Australia and Public Service Medal) who will provide insight into the function of an elected Councillor. Bookings are essential and can be made by visiting Council’s website or by contacting Council on 6378 2850.

Local government elections will be held on Saturday 14 September.
