Mid-Western Regional Council is taking a proactive step towards the future development of its industrial sector with the initiation of the Employment (Industrial) Lands Strategy Project.

With most of the industrial land already developed in the region, the strategy will look at what additional industrial land is needed. The project aims to ensure a strong, resilient, and sustainable industrial landscape over the next 20-30 years.

Council encourages residents, businesses, and stakeholders to participate in an online survey on Council's website designed to gather insights on key matters relevant to industrial land development.

Council values the opinions of the community in shaping the strategy and the collective insights of residents and industry are important in understanding key considerations that should be integrated into the development of the Employment (Industrial) Lands Strategy.

If you have any suggestions or insights visit Council's website at midwestern.nsw.gov.au, make sure you click on “Your Say” to complete the online survey.

The survey will remain open until Friday, 16 February.
