Flavours of Mudgee Road Closures

Council is reminding residents of road closures within the Mudgee CBD during the Flavours of Mudgee Street Festival this Saturday, 23 September.

Market Street (between Perry and Lewis Streets) and Church Street (between Short and Mortimer Streets) will be closed from 12pm.

Drivers are asked to remove their vehicles from the event area to allow for event set up.

The road is expected to be reopened at 10pm on Saturday.

Affected residents and businesses have been advised via letter.

Ogden’s Coaches will be operating a shuttle bus service in the Mudgee residential area.

The hail and ride service will travel in a westerly loop from Robertson Park from 3.30pm to 8.30pm and will travel along Gladstone Street, Fairydale Lane, Banjo Paterson Avenue, Bellevue Road, Henry Bayly Drive, Madeira Road, Oporto Road, Spring Road, Robertson Street, Meares Street, Church Street, Horatio Street, Burrundulla Avenue, Mortimer Street, Lawson Street, Gladstone Street and Perry Street.

Buses will also be departing from Country Link Bus Stops in Kandos at 2:45pm, Rylstone 3:00pm, Lue 3:30pm and Gulgong at 3:25pm. Anyone that has purchased a bus ticket will receive an e-mail one day before the event with all details.

Please ensure the bus driver can see you, when you wave for the bus.

There will be approximately 20 minutes between buses on the Mudgee local route. Cost is $5 return with cash payable to the driver for receipt of a wristband.
