Flavours of Mudgee packages on sale

Residents are encouraged to snap up their Flavours of Mudgee tasting packages from 9am tomorrow, Thursday 1 September.

Whilst Flavours is free to attend, a tasting package allows patrons to sample the region’s award winning wines.

A $25 tasting package includes five tasting (30ml) tokens and a souvenir Flavours of Mudgee tasting glass.

“The idea of the tokens is to sample wines and then once you’ve used up the five, purchase a full glass or bottle of your favourite wine to enjoy,” Cr Kennedy said.

“A limited number of dated 2022 glasses are available, so if you’d like to add to your collection please get in quick.

“We expect a huge response to this year’s event given it has not been held for two years so I would encourage locals to get in quick and purchase their tasting packages to avoid disappointment.”

Kids packages will return and include three treat tokens and a souvenir cup for $10.

Packages will be available for pick-up in The Stables car park (86 Market Street, Mudgee - next to Council’s Mudgee Administration Building) the week of the event (from 17 September) and on event date.

Flavours of Mudgee is the largest food and wine event in the region.

The last event in 2019 saw more than 12,000 people attend.

Flavours of Mudgee 2022 will be held on Saturday, 24 September 4pm – 8pm in Church and Market Streets Mudgee.
