Free Flower Stall At Mudgee Cemetery

In recognition of the profound grief caused to the community following the recent cemetery clean-up, Mid-Western Regional Council will be hosting a free flower stall at Mudgee Cemetery on Saturday, 12 October, from 10am to 2pm.

Both real and artificial flowers will be available for collection, with a limit of one bouquet per gravesite. In addition to flowers, small Australian flags will also be provided for those wishing to honour their loved ones.

For those unable to attend the stall, artificial flowers will be available from the Mudgee Customer Service desk starting Monday, 14 October, while supplies last. Council regrets the breakdown in procedure that led to this incident and any distress this has caused the community. We hope this gesture will help affected community members by assisting in replacing tributes to loved ones.
