Local by-election set for 7 December

The NSW Electoral Commission has confirmed a by-election for Mid-Western Regional Council will be held on Saturday, 7 December.

Due to the resignation of a sitting councillor, a casual vacancy exists and a by-election will be conducted.

If your enrolled address is in the Mid-Western Regional Council Area, you must vote in this by-election. Voting options for this by-election will include: pre-poll (early voting) at a pre-poll venue, voting in-person at a polling place on election day, postal voting, and telephone assisted voting for electors who are blind or have low vision.

Nominations for the Mid-Western Regional Council by-election commence from Monday, 28 October to 12 noon Wednesday, 6 November 2024.
