Celebrate Australian Pollinator Week with an exciting and informative native bee seminar and workshop at the Mudgee Arts Precinct. Mid-Western Regional Council welcomes Megan Halcroft (PhD), as the esteemed guest speaker, offering valuable insights into the world of native bees and their vital ecological role.

This event will take place at Workshop 1 within the Cultural Workshop Centre, situated to the north of the Arts Precinct on Douro Street Mudgee. The workshop aims to deepen your understanding and admiration for these tiny but mighty pollinators.

Megan Halcroft (PhD) will have her book, “Bees and other beneficial insects: a pocket-book guide,” as well as an Australian native bee calendar available for purchase on the day. This is a free event and RSVPs are essential as space is limited to 50 people.

This free event will be held on Saturday, 11 November, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. To RSVP visit Council’s website www.midwestern.nsw.gov.au/Community/Events-directory/Native-Bee-Seminar-and-Workshop.
