Vapour Testing of Property Sewer Services - Kandos

Mid-Western Regional Council is committed to ensuring the highest standards of sanitation for our community. As part of our ongoing efforts, we have engaged a specialist contractor to conduct vapour testing on property drainage lines connected to the Council's sewerage system in Kandos.

Scheduled to commence 2 April until 12 April, these testing dates are subject to change in the event of wet weather. Any alterations to the schedule will be communicated through our social media channels.

The primary objective of these essential works is to enhance our sewage infrastructure efficiency while mitigating issues such as surcharging and odour problems. By identifying and addressing potential concerns proactively, we aim to maintain optimal pumping operations and minimise sewerage treatment costs in the long term.
