Food Rescue Central West

Food waste and food insecurity in Australia are complex, intertwined issues. Many people across the Central West and Western Region live below the poverty line and go without food often, while large volumes of food are wasted by producers and retailers, as well as within the household.

Supported by NSW EPA, Food Rescue Central West is a collective group of volunteer food rescue agencies across the Central West Region, working to rescue food and redistribute it to people who need it.

Food Rescue Central West need more help from large or small businesses and producers.
