Council aims to provide and support a range of waste education opportunities for charity shops.

Educational material, programs and services are available to encourage and support sustainable change.

Are you a manager, worker or volunteer at a charity shop and passionate about reducing waste entering landfill and decreasing the burden it places on your organisation?

Some of the ways Council can support you in reducing waste going to landfill include:

• Providing a waste audit and action guide 
• Providing waste related signage (from the EPA) for your store
• Providing a list of recycling locations and organisations to direct customers to take problem waste you cannot accept in store
